3000 Series 301-315

The COMAC 3000 Series is a comprehensive lineup of 15 double pinch angle rolls spanning models 301 through 315, engineered to bend angle iron, structural profiles, tube, pipe, bar, and specialty sections from 1" through 10" capacity. Built by Comac of Italy — a manufacturer with over 35 years of dedicated profile bending experience — these machines deliver the precision, repeatability, and structural durability that heavy fabrication demands. Carell Corporation is the exclusive North American source for the full 3000 Series, backed by factory-direct support from our facility in Stapleton, Alabama.

What sets the 3000 Series apart is its double pinch geometry: both lower bending rolls adjust independently, allowing operators to pre-bend the leading and trailing ends of a workpiece without removing it from the machine. This eliminates wasted flat ends, reduces material waste, and dramatically speeds up production. Every model features three driven rolls for maximum traction, NiCrMo alloy steel rolls hardened to 60 HRC for long service life, and monolithic single-weldment steel frames reinforced at every load point. Whether you're rolling structural angle for architectural canopies or heavy beams for industrial infrastructure, there's a 3000 Series machine built for the job.

Double Pinch Advantage

The defining capability of every 3000 Series machine is its double pinch roll geometry — a configuration that fundamentally changes how profile bending gets done. With independently adjustable lower rolls, the operator can pre-bend (or "croquage") both the leading and trailing ends of a symmetrical profile in a single setup. The workpiece never leaves the machine between initial forming and final rolling.

In practical terms, this means less flat waste at each end of the finished curve, fewer handling steps, and tighter finished tolerances on the first pass. For shops running production quantities of curved angle, channel, beam, or tube, the time savings compound quickly. The double pinch approach also simplifies the rolling of full circles and tight-radius curves where minimizing straight tangent lengths is critical.
