GR Guard Rail Series
The Comac GR Series offers purpose-built hydraulic guard rail bending solutions for curving highway guard rails and corrugated sheet profiles. Available in two configurations — the GR 300 EV for 2-wave applications and the GR 500 for both 2-wave and 3-wave profiles — this lineup delivers the specialized tooling and bending capacity needed for transportation infrastructure work.
The GR 300 EV is a compact six-roll design built specifically for standard W Beam (2-wave) guard rail up to 310mm (approximately 12") wide. It bends in both convex and concave directions without rearranging tooling, with each swinging arm carrying dedicated rolls for each direction. At 3,750 lbs and roughly 51" × 55" × 49", it's sized for shops focused on standard guard rail work.
The GR 500 steps up to a 3-roll pyramid design that handles both W Beam (2-wave) and Tri-Rail (3-wave) highway guard rail profiles. Built with 6-inch hardened steel shafts and triple working stations, it bends rails in both concave and convex directions and includes a complete roll set for both guard rail types. At 12,000 lbs, it also handles support and rub rail channel sections on extended shafts, with optional tooling available for stringer channels, tube, pipe, and other profiles.

The Comac GR Series is built around two distinct machine configurations, each designed for specific guard rail bending applications. Shops focused exclusively on standard W Beam (2-wave) guard rail work benefit from the GR 300 EV's compact footprint and six-roll design. Operations that need to handle both W Beam and Tri-Rail (3-wave) profiles, or that require additional capacity for channel and support rail sections, step up to the GR 500's three-roll pyramid configuration.
Both machines bend guard rails in convex and concave directions without rearranging tooling. Both ship complete with roll sets matched to standard guard rail profiles. And both are built in Italy by Comac with the same commitment to precision engineering and production-grade durability. The choice comes down to the range of profiles you need to run and the floor space you have available.
