A single-shell pole with a 230mm base diameter can go from flat blank to finished form in approximately 140 seconds — with a single operator running the entire plant. Front and rear manipulators handle all sheet metal positioning automatically, so that one person can oversee the full production line without being present for the most demanding stages of the bend cycle. High-Speed Automated Production
Speed and labor efficiency are at the core of the SOMO system's value proposition. A standard single-shell pole with a base diameter of 230mm and 8 sides can be fully bent in approximately 140 seconds from the moment the blank is placed on the exit roller conveyor — a production rate that keeps high-volume pole manufacturing lines moving without bottlenecks.
The system is designed for single-operator use. Front and rear manipulators handle automatic positioning and movement of full-length sheet metal throughout the bending sequence, eliminating the need for operators to be present during the final — and most hazardous — stages of bending.
